Importance of Oxygen

As we all know, human existence will not be possible if not for one very important thing - OXYGEN. Aside from being used in just about anything people do in their everyday lives, oxygen's main purpose is to actually give life to people. Biological functions that actually supports life is dependent on this seeming innocent thing we can't even see. What am I talking about? Here...

All major classes of structural molecules in living organisms, such as proteins, carbohydrates, and fats, contain oxygen, as do the major inorganic compounds that comprise animal shells, teeth, and bone. Oxygen in the form of O2 is produced from water by cyanobacteria, algae and plants during photosynthesis and is used in cellular respiration for all complex life.

Uptake of O2 from the air is the essential purpose of respiration, so oxygen supplementation is used in medicine. Oxygen therapy is used to treat emphysema, pneumonia, some heart disorders, and any disease that impairs the body's ability to take up and use gaseous oxygen. Treatments are flexible enough to be used in hospitals, the patient's home, or increasingly by portable devices. Oxygen tents were once commonly used in oxygen supplementation, but have since been replaced mostly by the use of oxygen masks or nasal cannulas.
Hyperbaric (high-pressure) medicine uses special oxygen chambers to increase the partial pressure of O2 around the patient and, when needed, the medical staff. Carbon monoxide poisoning, gas gangrene, and decompression sickness (the 'bends') are sometimes treated using these devices. Increased O2 concentration in the lungs helps to displace carbon monoxide from the heme group of hemoglobin. Oxygen gas is poisonous to the anaerobic bacteria that cause gas gangrene, so increasing its partial pressure helps kill them. Decompression sickness occurs in divers who decompress too quickly after a dive, resulting in bubbles of inert gas, mostly nitrogen and argon, forming in their blood. Increasing the pressure of O2 as soon as possible is part of the treatment.

Oxygen is also used medically for patients who require mechanical ventilation, often at concentrations above the 21% found in ambient air.

Don't take my words for it, here are other importance of oxygen, as stated by some professionals:

"...When the body has ample oxygen, it produces enought energy to optimize metabolism and eliminate accumulated toxic wastes in the tissues. Natural immunity is achieved when the immune system is not burdened with heavy "toxic buildup". Detoxification occurs when oxygen is introduced into the system."
- Dr. Norman McVea

"...Insufficient oxygen means insufficient biological energy that can result in anything from mild fatigue to life threatening disease. The link beweeen insufficient oxygen and disease has now been firmly established. The more oxygen we have in our system, the more energy we produce."
- Dr. W. Spencer Way: Journal of the American Association of Physicians

"...The large majority of those infectious microbes that cause us so much illness and pain are ANAEROIC...a big word that means they live and proliferate best in environments where there is LITTLE OR NO OXYGEN."
- Ed McCabe: Oxygen Therapies: A New Way of Approaching Disease

"...Lack of oxygen clearly plays a major role in causing cells to become cancerous."
- Dr. Harry Goldblatt: Journal of Experimental Medicine

So basically, without oxygen, life will be screwed. So what about people who have health conditions that prompt them the necessary oxygen they need? Well, a solution has been developed. And aptly, it's called CARDIO FIT.

CARDIO FIT contains a large array of nutrients that lower low density cholesterol levels in the body with their natural herbal composition. It enhances the supply of oxygen to the heart by reducing the levels of cholesterol along the walls of the arteries.

For hyperlipidaemic conditions and as a supplement with cardiac medication.

One capsule two to three times a day. Full effect manifests itself only after a few weeks. Natural herbal remedies provide progressive and long lasting relief.

So there you have it, the importance of oxygen and how it maintain life in this planet, literally.
